World Solar Challenge: Crash ends Cambridge University race hopes

This news item talks about a disaster that happened in a university in Britain. This university mades a fantastic solar car. This car are the only car which are qualified to take part in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, but the vehicle had an accident just days before the start and the team have had to withdraw from the race…
‘’Resolution’’ was one of the twenty eight vehicles entered in the Challenger category of three thousands kilometers, the race lasted more o less seven days. This vehicle was built by a team of sixty students of the university; the car weighs 120Kg and is designed to run at an average speed of 80km/h.

My opinion about it is positive; they worked very hard because they were among the worlds top  28 teams. How many people can say this? I think less than one thousand people, which is nothing when you think how big the world is. That’s why want to congratulate this team, because they have work very hard and they have gone so far.
