I think humour has a lot of meaning in our lives because if humour didn't exist at all, maybe it would be very different. You couldn't laugh with friends and maybe life would be a more pessimistic...
If humour didn't exist we would probably never smile and I think smiling is one of the most beautiful things that we have. A day without laughing for me, is a lost day.
Jokes are necessary in our lives, becausejokes always bring a smile to a person. On the other hand, humours it an office, in our world are some people that live thanks to humour.
For this reason I think humour is necessary for our lives, because if humour dind't exist we would be very different and life would have no meaning.

Is humour necessary?
Body piercing controls wheelchair
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-25118896
This news talk about the progress of paralised people.
This progress consists in a movement of a tiny magnet in a tongue piercing which is detected by sensors and coverted into commands which can control a wheelchairs and other gadgets.
Scientists did a test and saw that twenty three able-bodied people and eleven with tetraplegia could control a wheelchair or a computer.
My opinion about this news it that it's a good advance because a tretaplegic person could do a lot of things if he or she could move on their own. This is a big advance and if he could control a computer maybe he could work, and have a ''normal life''. Nowadays if he or she could do things it would be one of the biggest things that technolgy can do. In my point of view this novetly could saved a life psychologically, because the person is not left with a useless life as it was before but his life is just a little stagnant.

Can retirement kill you?
This news talks about if retirement is bad
for your health. Harry Prosen is an old man who stopped to work at 71 years old
but he hasn’t stopped.
A few years later when he was 83 years he
corrected a manuscript which had six hundred pages because he wanted to keep up. Harry thinks that stop work is
bad for you and that’s why he now works with vocal groups and practice nearly
every day.
There are a lot of studies which have in
common that people who was differ life
more than other people. That’s why Harry thinks he shouldn’t stop doing
something.
My opinion about this it that I agree with
what the news said. I agree when the news said
‘’cutting down on the number of working hours is a better alternative
than full retirement for many people’’. From my point of view it the worst
thing that a person can do is to stop working altogether it’s positive that
people are busy, and if people do
this I think that maybe there would be extended life expectancy.
World Solar Challenge: Crash ends Cambridge University race hopes
This news item talks about a disaster that
happened in a university in Britain. This university mades a fantastic solar
car. This car are the only car which are qualified to take part in the
Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, but the vehicle had an accident just days
before the start and the team have had to withdraw from the race…
‘’Resolution’’ was one of the twenty eight
vehicles entered in the Challenger category of three thousands kilometers, the
race lasted more o less seven days. This vehicle was built by a team of sixty
students of the university; the car weighs 120Kg and is designed to run at an
average speed of 80km/h.
My opinion about it is positive; they worked
very hard because they were among the worlds top 28 teams. How many people can say this? I
think less than one thousand people, which is nothing when you think how big
the world is. That’s why want to congratulate this team, because they have work
very hard and they have gone so far.

Eye cells could help diagnose Alzheimer's disease
This news talks about is study that was done by Doctor Turner and her team which was
revealed at the US Society for Neuroscience conference.
This team did a
test with mice; they transformed normal mice into mice with Alzheimer. With
this test Doctor Turner arrived at the conclusion that in future opticians are
able to detect which people have Alzheimer by only watching theireyes.
My opinion about
this is so good. Nowadays Alzheimer is more usual in our society. It’s fantastic
news that in the future one optician only watching your retina can diagnose if
you have or not Alzheimer. I think this is the first step to give a solution to
this disease.
This is the end of my sportive career?
Today I decided
to talk about my sportive career. Well my sportive career started when I was ten
years old, and probably the training that I did the last 27th of October
was my last workout...
The reason that
I decided it, is of course for economic problems with my team Sarrià de Ter
(Girona). They can’t meet the conditions that we had done. For me it was very
difficult to stop playing suddenly because I love playing and last summer I had
some deals to go in some teams near Girona, and in the same league.
I knew the
economic situation of Girona, and in summer I was afraid because I knew that
this could happens… Now I regret it because I knew that the best that I could
do was to go in another team but I didn’t do this. I’m so sad because I started
with a good luck, I did a very good matches and I went to the selection. For
me, to go to the selection represents a lot because I enjoyed it so much, in
the selection the level is so high and I enjoyed this.
For me, it isn’t
easy talk about it but I think I have done the best.

A robot developed by Japanese scientists is so fast it can win the rock-paper-scissors game against a human every single time.
This news talks about a robot who plays a rock-paper-scissors game and never loses.
This robot was developed by a group of Japanese scientists in the Univeristy of Tokyo in 2012. The name of this robot is Janken and it use high-speed recognition and reaction, rather than predicction, that's why Janken wins every time.
The robot can recognize in only one millisecond what shape has the human hand and prepare an immediate movement to win the game.
My opinion about this robot it's a good example of the hard work in the scientist world. It's incredible what the scientist world can do...Now they have invited a fabulous robot cheat that has never lost any game, and it reacts in one millisecond this is fantastic. I think that we have to keep working hard and do big things, because today we do incredibly little things but tomorrow we can do big things with the theroy that we learn when we do little things.
