Decisions are taken

Well, at the end of my long battle during these two years I have decided that I want to study the first thing that in first of batxillerat I decided, CAFE (Ciències de l’activitat física I l’esport).

I came to this decision because it’s the thing that I have always liked during my life P.E classes have always been easy for me and out of school I have been outstanding in my sportive career in the world of handball. I think the last bad year, the big change of things and the result was that I didn’t play handball because I had some problems with Girona which made me think that I didn’t want  to study something related to the sport world.

In conclusion the opportunity that Edu Berta (professional handball coach) who offered me to help him with the infantile handball team Esplais in Castelló and his tips during the year made me open my eyes and know what is the degree that I like much than the others and what’s the degree that I enjoy more during the next four years. 

The last battle

Well the end of the ‘’story’’ that I and my classmates have lived for two years has been reduced to two weeks, the same as ten days or nine exams…

I’m very nervous because these final exams are very important and we have one every day so that’s why we haven’t a lot of time to prepare an exam… The time is enough if you organize yourself well, but for me it’s the just enough time to pass the exam and maybe I need a few marks to do the degree that I want.

In conclusion we haven’t any excuse because all of us are in the same situation and teachers have warned us about the way that we would find the things at the end of second so that’s why we haven’t any excuse. We have to do the best exams that we can, and hope everything goes well…

Driver's license

Now, I and the majority of my classmates are adults. We are more than eighteen years old so that’s why we can obtain the driver’s license. In my opinion this can change your life a lot, because if you have it you are independent.

I’m sure that all of us want it, because nobody likes asking their parents to take them somewhere… But the big discussion of this topic is if the method that Spain uses to obtain the license is correct. I think that I’m not the first person who asked this question, because for me, it isn’t the best method because the practice part is very relative, on the other hand I’m agree with the theory part.

The problem that the practice part has is that the examiner doesn’t value sufficiently your style of driving and he or she fails you if you make a casual mistake that somebody makes everyday when he or she drives her car… I think a good thing that we can do is that the examiner should be less strict and lengthen the time of the exam, in this manner the examiner has a big vision of you, and can value you better. I’m sure that in a near future we will do this because we have a lot of problems to obtain the license and the majority of people who do the exam didn’t pass so that’s why in my opinion the exam, in a near future, will change… 

A criticism of apple

Well today I will make a criticism of apple because I think nowadays more and more people have problems with their phones which belong to apple's company. I was talking to somebody days ago because my iphone has a small variation with the wifi, it doesn't works. People told me that they have the same problem, or other problems for example the screen doesn't respond and they have to reboot their iphone and a few things...

Some people commented to me that years ago it didn't happen and apple isn't the same as they were before. Nowadays apple is very popular and their phones have a very good record so that's why people talk very well about them. I think this is the principal cause why apple dowsn't make the same phones that they did at the beginning. They increase a lot, and have a lot of phones every day so that's why they can't make the phones which they had at the beginning. 

short holidays

This winter I did a short holiday which I hadn't done for two years. I went to Andorra basically for ski but moreover to buy something in the city.

This year, the weather wasn't so good that's why I couldn't enjoy myself as I wanted. It was snowing from Saturday at twelve o'clock until I left Andorra. However I skied Saturday and Sunday and the snow was so good because there was a lot of snow but the problem was that I couldn't see very well because my glasses were fogging up all the time... On the other hand the shops in Andorra have change a lot since the last time that I went. The prices have risen a lot but there are a few cheaper than in Spain. The principal problem of this rise is that years ago in Andorra there wasn't IVA and now there is so that's why the prices have rise a little. 

In conclusion, I enjoyed this weekend a lot. The other thing that I din't like is that when I was coming to Spain there was a lot of traffic and we took a longtime arrive home. Another thing that I hate is that I have a heavy cold and I have hurt my back. 

What's the best way to learn English?

Well today I will talk about a subject which we talked a little about the last day in my class and I think it’s very interesting because nobody has the same idea.  Some people said that listening is the best thing, others grammatical and a few speaking is the best thing.

In my opinion it depends on what you are looking for, if you want to get a good mark in selectivity I think the programme that we do in the school isn’t bad. In my opinion it’s very difficult to prepare classes in English for twenty people more o less because nobody has the same level. I think if you want to do the first exam or advance o some official exam you have to do private English classes because in the school the level isn’t sufficient to do these exams but I think it’s impossible because is impossible to prepare good classes for people who haven’t the same level.

In conclusion, the best way to learn English I think depends a lot on what you are searching, if you want to learn to speak the language the best thing that you can do is to go to England a few weeks, if you want to learn English to write emails and other things the private classes are the best thing. And that’s all, this is my opinion. 

This is the end of my sportive career?

Today I decided to talk about my sportive career. Well my sportive career started when I was ten years old, and probably the training that I did the last 27^th of October was my last workout...

The reason that I decided it, is of course for economic problems with my team Sarrià de Ter (Girona). They can’t meet the conditions that we had done. For me it was very difficult to stop playing suddenly because I love playing and last summer I had some deals to go in some teams near Girona, and in the same league.

I knew the economic situation of Girona, and in summer I was afraid because I knew that this could happens… Now I regret it because I knew that the best that I could do was to go in another team but I didn’t do this. I’m so sad because I started with a good luck, I did a very good matches and I went to the selection. For me, to go to the selection represents a lot because I enjoyed it so much, in the selection the level is so high and I enjoyed this.

For me, it isn’t easy talk about it but I think I have done the best. 

Is there any relationship between the hours of study and the results?

This is a strange question which came into my head today after doing a technology exam. I starte tho think about it, because I didn't do a good exam and I was a little sad...

My opinion about it, it's that the importance isn't studying ten hours the day before because it's more productive to study a little every day. I think if you do the homework every day, review notes or repeat some exercise that you do in class you can improve your marks considerably. You don't need much time, only the sufficient to review the six subjects that you have done at school this day, probably about one or two hours, no more. However the last day before an exam, study two hours more the subject that you have exam it's the time minimum to pass the exam, if you don't do this I think it's a little difficult to pass the exam for you. 

In conclusion I think the secret to get good results consists in working a little every day, if you are a constant worker the marks improve a lot and you haven't problems to pass the exams. 

MY LAST SUMMER

Today I have decided to write about my fantastic summer 2013. Probably this summer was one of the best summers of my life. I did a lot of things, perhaps I worked a lot and I didn't go to the beach very much but for me this didn't matter because I often went to Alba's pool. 

I often went to the party in Empuriabrava when I finished work in the restaurant. I enjoyed myself with my friends very night, we danced and we laughed so much. However the best part of the summer, for me was in September, the fist two weeks because nobody works and we stayed together all day, and that was fabulous.

I was with my little love Alba a lot, we stayed together a lot of mornings because she finished work around twelve o'clock the same time more o less as me. We couldn't be together a lot of nights because neither of us has transport, that's why we didn't stay a lot of nights together. When she came to Castelló and we went to the party we enjoyed ourselves a lot. Well, when I'm with her always I'm happy and I enjoy being with her because I love her. 

Finally the thing that I liked so much was the bowling0's night with the coworkers, these nights ara always special because something different usually happens. 

Flying cars: Radical concept design aims high

This piece of news talks about the design of a new future flying car called TF-X. The future TF-X will be the dream of many people, get fly with a simple car.

According to the TF-X design can take off and land like a helicopter, so it will be very handy. It is also very safe on security the safety issue, take several electric motors and fuel so in the case that one would not be a problem vary.

From my point of view, this is very interesting because I’m one of those guys who has always dreamed to fly with a simple car. I agree very well what the news says that the technology is already advanced enough to make this real. I hope that very soon, you can see cars flying!

ORAL PRESENTATION: School failure

Presentation (10%)

I used a power point presentation to help myself. In which he added some special feature slightly related to the topic that I think has made me gain points in my favor, why just not being a regular PowerPoint has caught the attention of people.

Body language and eye contact (10%)

I used correct language and quite simply, I think easily understood by most of my classmates. I think they at understood me because they paid attention.

I tried to look a little the faces of my companions and I think it has been useful as I have paid more attention. I looked at nothing in special just watched them all a little.

Structure (10%)

I think I structured my job well; I used basically three points very clear and easy to understand. I think the result of my idea to structure it was good because my classmates gave me the feeling of being understood.

Content (40%)

I think I chose the right content, talk a lot in general and thought it was more interesting to talk in general and doing some comparisons with other countries than only focus in our country.

Language (20%)

I use simple and clear language. Thanks to my colleagues that I got easily understood.

Pronunciation and intonation (10%)

Overall I looked good in the video. I didn’t make a lot of mistakes but if I've seen on more than one occasion I have mispronounced failure.

In conclusion, I am happy with my result. I think my work was successful because I worked a lot and practice it several days before.

Hand, foot and mouth disease: First vaccine

It’s an illness that comes out in a form of hand blisters and very painful in extreme cases can give cerebral infections which are fatal.

But investigation groups in the Jangse and Beijind provinces have found a solution to this problem. This solution doesn’t cure the problem but thanks to this solution the ill people can avoid been taken to hospitals.

My opinion about this new is good news to see the evolution of medicine for everyone’s well being. 

Pirates of the caribbean

Pirates of the Caribbean is one of my favourite movies. I like movies with action and intrigue and this is it.

 This movie like the title says is about pirates, particularly the story of a pirate, Jack Sparrow. As long as the story is told Jack Sparrow build an army to go and find his ship, which had been stolen by Captain Barbosa. Barbosa not only stoles the boat, also kidnapped a girl (the daughter of the governor) who was kidnapped at the same time as the boat.

 This is why Jack Sparrow has the support of the entire Royal Family and because of this his ship gets back and the royal family get back their daughter Elizabeth. It’s because of this, that Jack Sparrow has the whole support of Elizabeth’s family. 

From my point of view, it’s an interesting film. As the story evolves around are fascinating scenes images ... This is an excellent film which I would recommend to everyone.

Some liver transplants 'avoidable'

This notice talks about, a discovery made by a doctor on how you can avoid a liver transplant because it has been discovered that some livers can recover on their own after a time.

This was discovered by Dr. Varuna Aluvihare in the Kings Collage Hospital, and accordint to her, one patient out of ten who are on the waiting list for a liver transplant, five can avoid the transplants because they can recover without the need of surgery.

A formative cycle in Castelló

The next year in Castelló start a new formative cycle about boat buildings. I think this is a very interesting thing. 

This is a good cycle in my opinion because there are very few people who like to learn this trade. Besides there are work to repear boats because there are a lot of boats which don't works. 

For me this is a good job because in Empuriabrava there are a lot of boats, and I think Empuriabravas has a great future because there are many people with money who will provide mor work. 

In conclusion for me this is a very interesting cycle and if I don't go into unverity to take a degree maybe I would like to do it. 

My life!

Today I decided to write about one of the most important people in my life. A person who for about a year has never been away from me, and I've always been supported by her. Today I will write about an UGLY girl, I'll write about Alba.

She's the one who is always there when I need her and even when things go wrong she's always there. It's with whom I share my every day and with whom I share everythin. She always cheers me up when I'm a little sad, help me whenever possible, doing everything she can for me to be happy.

I love his way of taking life always with a smile, whe's always calm and takes things easy which really pleases me above all the way she overcomes any problem.

I could spend years talking about her because she has a thousand qualities which I love. Anyway Alba, I want you to know that you're the best.

Traffic accidents

Day after day there are more traffic accidents...

For me, it's a terrible thing but it's the sad reality because everyday I see more accidents, more news about accidents and I heard everyday more people dying because of traffic accidents...

I have to take the motorbike everyday and all this news about people injured on the roads makes me think about going on my bike too often. I think I'm a pacific driver because almost never have come near an accident.

Sometimes I'm in a urry and I drive a little fast. I don't like it because I'm conciencious of the danger but, in conclusion, I think that I'm a safe driver. 

Alicante!

Alicante has been my last trip. but it was not exactly a trip, I went to compete and nothing turned out to be as I expected...

I enjoyed my stay there, but it wasn't good as I expected because the coaching team demanded more dischipline which I didn't exect. The trip was good, overall I has very funny moments, moments of celebration that I will never forget. I also lived many moments of laughter and silliness with all the team and I can't say that i did't have a good time miss something, as the hotel was spectacular and we had buffet every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner... Obviously all this luxury buffet was controlled by the coaching team for which, from my point of view this lost many points...

All in all, this has been an experience that I will never forget, as it will be very difficult to repeat another experience like that.

City or town?

Today I will write about where I would prefer to live in the future. Would be better the city or the town?

I think that I would prefer to live in a town because the people are different as the city. People are more sociable and they like stay with you for do anything. When you are in a street, everybody said hello and that’s, from my point of view it’s a very beautiful thing. Besides the calm that you find in a town you can't find anywhere…you can leave anything on the street and you know it, will be there when you go back, and this was absolutely amazing.

On the other hand, the city is very different for me...I see it all negative, people are not sociable you don't know more than half of them and the few who know you rarely find them. You can't leave anything on the street without being touched. Everything is very different in the town...

All in all, the confidence that transmits a village is what makes me prefer a village to a city...

BARRAQUES

Barraques it's a tradicional feast which is celebrated in Figueres every year. 

In spain there is a tradition to celebrate the feast of the village in honour to the patron saint. In Figueres there is one of the biggest and they have a special place only for the fun-fair and the musical groups this place is called Barraques and goes on from around ten o'clock until five or six in the morning. 

Barraques consists to a big party in the middle of Figueres. In this event participate a lot of different musical groups and the people of the city love it. The people who live near Figueres they all go to this feast. 

This is an enjoyable event because you meet many friends some of them you haven't seen for a long time. 

In my opinion it's one of the parties that I like best because, a big part of my friend go and it's free. On the other hand it also have negative things, there are a lot of robbaries and differents incidents...
